Mission Statement:

CavUnity is a youth-led organization dedicated to engaging students in grades 7-12 across the Halifax Regional Municipality in meaningful volunteerism within their communities. Founded by youth, for youth, our mission is to inspire leadership, foster a sprit of service, and empower young people to make a positive impact through action driven initiatives. 

Through our events, fundraisers, programs, and workshops focused on our initiatives Care, Recreation, Hunger & Homelessness, Environment, and Mental Health, Addictions & Well-Being, we develop the leaders of tomorrow while addressing the needs of our communities. CavUnity values unity, inclusivity, diversity, equality, and service, creating opportunities for youth to grow, lead, and contribute in ways that strengthen both themselves and their communities.

Our vision is to cultivate a generation of leaders who are driven by empathy, guided by service, and strengthened by unity. Our initiatives are created by young people, ensuring that youth voices are not just heard—but are the driving force behind every decision, project, event, fundraiser, and program.

We believe that true empowerment begins when youth lead the way, shaping the programs and opportunities that reflect their communities and their futures.

2. For Youth: Everything we do is designed for youth—to engage, inspire, and equip the next generation of leaders. Through hands-on volunteerism, leadership development, and community engagement, we provide meaningful opportunities for students in grades 7–12 to learn, grow, and make an impact.
