  • ORANGE (DELAYED/MODIFIED): Delays, partial cancellations, or district specific adjustments. 

  • RED (CLOSED): All in-person CavUnity events, fundraisers, programs, meetings, and activities are cancelled.

Evidence in Decision Making: 

• Many regions of Nova Scotia including the HRM are still experiencing snowfall. 

• Snowfall amounts of 10 cm - 15 cm accumulated overnight. 

• Many streets and sidewalks still remain slippery and snow covered.

• All schools in Nova Scotia (HRCE, SSRCE, TCRCE, AVRCE, CCRCE, SRCE, CBVRCE & CSAP) are closed for the day today, Tuesday January 27, 2026.
